These Hairbands were made from used condoms and threads. That was so disgusting, I would not want anyone to use them!! . . . . BEIJING (AFP) - Used condoms are being recycled into hair bands in southern China threatening to spread sexually-transmittable diseases they were originally meant to prevent, state media reported Tuesday In the latest example of potentially harmful Chinese-made products, rubber hair bands have been found in local markets and beauty salons in Dongguan and Guangzhou cities in southern Guangdongprovince , China Daily newspaper said. 'These cheap and colorful rubber bands and hair ties sell well .. threatening the health of local people,' it said. Despite being recycled, the hair bands could still contain bacteria and viruses, it said. 'People could be infected with AIDS, (genital) warts or other diseases if they hold the rubber bands or strings in their mouths while waving their hair into plaits or buns,' the paper quoted a local dermatologist who gave only his surname, Dong, as saying. A bag of ten of the recycled bands sells for just 25 s en (three cents), much cheaper than others on the market, accounting for their popularity, the paper said. A government official was quoted as saying recycling condoms was illegal. In response, it launched a public relations blitz this summer aimed at playing up efforts to strengthen monitoring systems.

[The] Alaska Women Reject Palin rally was to be held outside on the lawn in front of the Loussac Library in midtown Anchorage . Home made signs were encouraged, and the idea was to make a statement that Sarah Palin does not speak for all Alaska women, or men. I had no idea what to expect. Never, have I seen anything like it in my 17 and a half years living in Anchorage. The organizers had someone walk the rally with a counter, and they clicked off well over 1400 people (not including the 90 counter-demonstrators). This was the biggest political rally ever, in the history of the state. I was absolutely stunned. The second most amazing thing is how many people honked and gave the thumbs up as they drove by. And even those that didn't honk looked wide-eyed and awe-struck at the huge crowd that was growing by the minute. This just doesn't happen here. A bunch of pictures of that rally:

Ok OK. As many of you know I have a special needs daughter that is my world. I have been on the look out for a dollhouse for her sigh. I have looked everyway I am in need of some serious help.

Many of you know my story and what brought me to EP. I have been learning what it is like to feel again, and you know what it is scary as hell. The simplest things bring a smile to my face now, the wind blowing, a child smiling, a coworkers goofy laugh. Its all different for me. My task for the week is to learn to be flexible, not for others but with myself. I am suppose to see that everything happens for a reason and blah, blah blah. I know I know I really should listen but its so hard when you want something so bad and its taken away from you. I am reminded daily of the lose through photos, media, or just friends that have babies. I am being to not place blame on myself or anyone else. It still hurts though. I guess its because when you love someone truely love someone you want to share everything you can with them. I see a chid as the most precious gift that (the source god, allah, jah, krishna, buddha, mother earth) can give to someone. I guess I am more so disappointed more than anything. I have been going through phases of grief. As I spoke with my therapist she began to ask me about my anger problem. I told her its only when I feel like I am losing utter control. Its a breaking point. She told me my family is not that healthy for me, she asked me not to visit my grandma in the hospital, cause she says that eventhough she is your grandma she brings you a great deal of stress when it comes to your father and everytime we speak about your father, its almost like you become a lil girl again and get angry, tantrum, and cry. She told me it was ok. I thought I would never hear that it was ok to be angry because of the things he did to me, and my mom. I don't remember much growing up. To be honest I dont think I want to know. I think its better this way. So the question that is ask is how do I learn to forgive myself and the others that have hurt me, when is it time to let go, and will I ever be able to.

Let me begin to deal with APPRECIATION in
marriage by explaining a basic human dynamic.

Nancy, what gets your attention? Think
about it. Do you notice the beat of your heart,
the comfort of a hot shower, or the milk in the

meal that didn't end with you feeling hungry, or
a week when your life didn't hang in the balance.

Then one day the Russians and the Americans come
marching in and you're liberated.
